Can anyone please help me with filling up an information on the page 2 of this form: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/imm0008egen.pdf
which is about details of family members.
My questions are:
1. What will happen if I do not write the names of all the family members now and if I want to sponsor them in future? Can I still sponsor them in the future if I do not write their names at this time???
2. If I am including my partner and 3 other family members (my in laws) so in total 5 [me+my partner+3 of my in-laws=5].
But only my partner will be accompanying me and not 3 other family members and I am only including my partner in the application process.......so that when I give proof of funds, for how many people I should provide this proof???
What I think is: it will be only for me and my partner and not for others who are not accompanying me.
Please Please Please help me....I need an expert opinion in order to avoid the tensions in the future
I am stucked on these questions

:-\
Thank you in advance for your help.
Family for this form is defined as
Commonlaw partner/ Spouse
Dependent children
Children of dependent children
You can not include your in laws in this application
You can sponser your parents/ parent in laws later and it takes about 18-24 months for their OR after you are economically settled in Canada. Please go through cic.gc.ca for more details and to fill in the form read the instruction guide available at
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/EG7.pdf
HI Ankit,
Dont we need to fill in the details of parents and siblings too here...?

Of course I read it but when I read this "http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/EG7.pdf" document what confuses me more is the lower part on page 23 about "details of family members". Where it is mentioned that, i must include the name of all the family members even if they do not wish to accompany me.
So do you mean it is only reffering to me/my partner/my childrens and not my law-parents or my parents???
Thanks.

Yes you need to include family here even if they are not moving with you but family is defines as Commonlaw partner/ Spouse, Dependent children, Children of dependent children. Same is clearly mentioned in the instruction guide
Rest of family members are qualified as additional family and their details need to be logged in the Additional family Form. If you want you can sponser additional family at a later stage after you are economically settled. You can not sponsor siblings over 22 years of age
