After my PGWP is expired, I was working as an implied status.
Fortunately, I got my work permit extended ( BOWP) and approved 2 weeks ago.
However, the hard copy hasn't arrived yet and I am not able to update my sin number.
I have no idea when it will arrive due to the strike of canada post.
The thing is, I was hired by another employer and they wouldn't accept me because my sin is expired.
But isn't my sin number still valid in this case? Can't I be hired by a new employer under this situation?
I tried to reach CIC but they never answer.
If anyone knows anything about this matter..please share..
