Hi..I would like to know details about experience count in express entry
One of my friend told me that an experience of 10 months doesn't count
Say I have a total of 3 years and 10 month's out of which I have 1 yr from 1st company 10 months from 2nd and 1yr and 10 months from 3rd.
He told me that cic doesn't consider those 10 months.
So I would end up with 2 yrs, they would cap those 10 months experience
Is it true ? Someone pls help
That is not true. Once you have 1 continuous year of work experience, you can add other work experiences even if they are in days. So, in your case, you can claim 3 years of work experience. Please note that all jobs need to be in the same NOC.
The bolded part is incorrect, after fulfilling the eligibility criteria other NOC's can be used towards claiming CRS points as long as they are 0, A or B.
Does it have to be post qualification experience? I started working after my course completion. But I had a backlog and I cleared that paper 2 months after my course completion and I received my degree certificate in that month.
Say I completed my course in May and started working in Sep,After clearing my backlog ,I received my degree certificate in November..So do they count my experience starting from September ?

Assuming this is foreign work experience yes it will be counted.
Assuming this is Canadian work experience it will be safely counted after applying for a PGWP.
