Regarding excessive processing time for parents super visa

Not sure you will get much empathy from Canadians when it comes to longer processing times due to potential security risks for visitors. Not all ex police or military take 3-5 years to process. Like any applicant it is dependent on the profile.

Something needs to be done. This is so bad example of failure by ircc

You can certainly try but as soon as there is additional screening due to security it will be very difficult for people to support faster processing especially for visitors.

Since then, there has been no update whatsoever. Tried MP route to, they also tell the same thing as the online tracker. Raised a couple of webforms too.

That is longer than average but not unheard of. Very different than applications taking years to process.

PP = Passport pickup? Hope he get back his passport soon.
