Hi,
I have completed my B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from MNIT Jaipur, India(ICCR Scholarship) with a CGPA of 5.84 out of 10.
MUN replied on a query that they don't accept if CGPA is less than 2.75 out of 4. Do I have a chance of getting into M.Engg in Electrical Engineering with this CGPA?
My 10th and 12th standard results are from Bangladesh and in both case, my CGPA is 5 out of 5.
I have 2.5 years of job experience in the relevant field. Please answer me...

Dear Shuvagatadas
the minimum requirement of 2.75 out of 4 translates to roughly 7 out of 10. Seeing you have 5.84 out of 10, there appears very slim chance of getting admit. My friend who applied for MEngg in Electrical Engg with 7.19 got rejected 3 days back. No harm in applying though.
could you please tell me how you've converted the cgpa? only mcgill university provides the cgpa conversion table in their website and according to that, 55-59% are equivalent to cgpa 3.3 out of 4.

It depends on your parent university from where u got your degree. Not the university u are applying to. Mine has a proportional conversion from 10 to 100. I have a certificate for the formula given by my university.
