Regarding Biometric timeline for visitor visa

I am applying for my parents visitor visa, but they have only 4 years of biometrics validity left. They have 10 years of valid passports..

Does biometric timeline effect visa as well, they might get only 4 years of visitor visa..

If someone can clear this doubt, that will be really appreciate..
