Refund of excess of Right of Landing Fee, need help please...

Hi All,

We paid the ROF at the time of submission of our PR application in 2004 @ CAD 975/person over 22 years of age. The current ROF is CAD480/adult person. As we are sending our passports for visa, should we ask the IO to make a refund of the excess of the ROF? Please advise. Thanks in advance. The difference is CAD970 for two adult persons.

Yes, you can also ask the Border agent at airport on arriving Canada. They will give you a form which you have to return and mail it to somewhere in Canada.
