I am not gonna discuss the whys and hows, but if I am an international student until August 31 2025, and Canada rejects my refugee claim by inegibility or insufficient foundations, Must I leave the country or my study permit would still be valid? I really deserved the refugee, but it is hard to get enough evidence.
Thanks

Expect that your study permit will likely be cancelled. Not sure who told you to apply for asylum but given you had another pathway to get a WP and apply for PR applying for asylum was always risky.

First time I saw someone IRCC found ineligible for refugee claim. I mean they do I believe but I’ve never seen someone. What was their reason if you don’t mind sharing with us?

Unless you abandon previous claim or have claimed refugee in other country, most refugee claims are being referred to IRB for hearing determination. Since poster mentioned he is not going to discuss why and how, then I can only think of abandoning previous claim based on his previous posts...
