refugee lawyer fees 25,000 $ ?!!!

i was going to hire a lawyer for my refugee claim case within Canada but the lawyer requests a total of 25,000 $ which includes submitting the claim up to obtain the PR including translators during the hearing (as per to him). does his fees logical, i mean i don't have a clue how much lawyers charge in Vancouver

any suggestion or advice as i can not afford to pay 25,000 $

Translators for hearing are free of charge. And this price is totally unreasonable.

each lawyer is different I suggest you shop around

Get a legal aid mate if you qualify if not max you must pay is 5000 for all that. The best lawyers get this amount here in Toronto. this also includes the interpretation not at the hearing but with lawyer, you will need to meet him several times and this interpretation is included in this amount.

thank you all for you advice, should i apply for Legal AId to pay for lawyer before or after i submit my refugee claim? and do you have any clue if i am qualified to apply for legal AID
