I applied for a refugee claim in Dec2019 and had my eligibility interview in Jan2020. I got a call from Immigration 2 days before my interview and they told me that it has been postponded until further notice it has almost been a month now since my interview date and I have not been given any other date so far. Has anyone ever gone through this? And what can I do now.
Thanks.

This is normal. This happens to most people. Unfortunately you likely have a very long wait ahead of you before your interview is rescheduled.
Hmm.. Any idea if I can get my work permit during this wait I did apply for it in the refugee forms. And my kids are not allowed to go to school as we don't have an interview date is their any way around this.
Thanks.

You have to wait. There is a large volume of people to process and the system is overburdened. Unfortunately lots of waiting ahead of you.
