Hi everyone.
Please I need an advice.
I submitted my refugee claim on 13th February 2023 and I had my eligibility interview and got my brown paper on the 14th May 2024.
I got an email to gather my documents in the month of July 2023 and was notified that my case is a less complex case. Now I am waiting to get my hearing date.
Someone advised I go to IRB and fill a form for hearing date to expedite when I will get one.
Please, what do you think I should do?

I received my hearing date yesterday, April 30th 2025
I applied for refugee on the 16th February 2024
Got my work permit March 14th 2024
Received the document package (less complex case) in July 2024
Received my hearing date on the 30th April 2025.

Your dates are not consistent from the beginning of your post. Is it 2023 or 2024? Was your hearing on April30th or you were notified of a future date.
It was a typo error.. it was 2024.
I received my hearing date letter yesterday, April 30th 2025.
My hearing is slated for July 2025.
