Currently Working full time
Previously married and divorced outside of Canada - Currently have the final decree of divorce in my procession
Been dating a Canadian citizen for 2 years but do not live together - live in 2 different cities
City hall requested 2 government Ids in order to apply for the marriage licence - thus was turned away
Only have one ID - Ontario drivers licence - they will not accept the The Refugee Protection Claimant Document ( brown paper) as a second ID as it is expired
Fiancée willing to sponsor
Please offer youth advise on this matter

Do you have a health card?

Make sure you get the opinion from a lawyer as well since you are divorced.

Note that you must be living together in the same city if your spouse wants to sponsor you inland.

You need the legal opinion letter before you can get married. This is an early step. Follow the steps outlined on the ontario.ca website to make sure you don't miss anything. You may also need to get your divorce decree translated.

Birth certificates are accepted. Do you have that? They don't expire.

Note that getting married and submitting an application won't stop removal so continue to pursue the appeals.
