Refugee claim rejected. Do I wait for the NOD or I can leave before it arrives?

Hello experts,

I had a hearing and was given an oral decision that it was rejected. Now I have 15 days to leave Canada from today? or I will have to wait to receive the decision and then leave Canada?
If I wanted to leave before I get the decision is it possible as I already have an oral decision? I read online and it said that I can leave Canada voluntarily if my claim is rejected but doesn’t say if I have to wait for the NOD. Also how long does the NOD take if your claim is rejected?

additionally, someone told me that I cannot leave Canada and go to another country. I will have to go straight back to my home country. Is it true?

I would appreciate if you can help me with my questions point to point.
