Hi ,
i am in a very confused situation,my refugee claim is denied a week ago.i know that after getting a negative decision my removal order has come to effect.i am wondering in how many days i have to leave canada?how i will get my passport back from IRB to go back to my country ?IRB hasn't provided me the written decision yet, they told me that it will take around 1 to 3 months to get the written reasons for refusal. If i leave the country voluntarily ,can i ever come to canada again as my daughter is a canadian permenant resident?can she sponsor me or apply for super visa?
i know i have lots of questions but i appreciate some guidence/suggestions.
Thanks

Hello,

Why do u think that u are rejected if u havent received any official decisions from IRB?

BTW, how and when IRB returns passports to claimants regardless of decision?

1. Once you receive the decision, you should contact CBSA who probably have your passport as it was seized by them, not the IRB. You will have 30 days to depart before your departure order turns into a deportation order.
2. It is unlikely that you would be issued a visitor visa (TRV) for Canada, as the refugee claim demonstrates to CIC that it was your intention to remain permanently in Canada. If/when parents sponsorship re-opens, she could sponsor you. If your departure order turns into a deportation order, you will be barred from Canada for life.
