I have questions regarding the up to date reference letters and the 12 months experience.
I need up to date letters of reference from my past and current employers for the last 3 years, I have only 1 year experience in Canada, do I need letters from the others employers out site Canada also???
I worked for 1 company from March 12 to October 12. 8 Months total. Then I changed company and I will complete the year by the end of July.
I would get the reference letter from my current employer in the end of July but, if I get the letter from my first employer dated now in June is all right or shall I wait until the end of July.
You need reference letters for the past 3 years - even if those employers are outside of Canada.
If you moved straight to a new company (in October 2012) then dating it now is fine as its after the one year of experience mark - assuming there wasn't a gap

I applied in January 2013.
My immigration lawyer had me collect references for the past 3 years - some of that experience was outside Canada - references for that experience was collected until I had 3 years of work history

I simply did what was instructed, mate. Better to be safe than sorry and over provide information than have an officer query what I was doing prior to the year's experience
Work Experience in Canada
For the principal applicant:
• copy of your most recent work permit,
• copies of your most recent T4 tax information slips and your Notice of Assessment issued by Canada Revenue
Agency,
• up-to-date letters of reference from your past and current employers for the past 3 years.
I used an immigration lawyer also. You definitely only need letters from Canadian employers for the last 3 years so don't worry about it.
I will be completing 1 year of Canadian experience (NOC 2172) in the last 3 years by June 2013. In between i was working in India. So do i need to submit my experience from India or just the Canadian experience is sufficient

You have to submit....... if you cant provide the Indian experience give an explanation why you can't submit the letter..
Anyways they will be taking only the Canadian experience in the last 3 years. However, to be on safe side provide the Reference Letter or Explanation Letter with your application

Only work experience in Canada is taken into account. You need to make sure that you have fulfilled all the requirements under the CEC program before you apply. You need one FULL year Canadian work experience to be eligible before you apply.
