So my company is not giving me a reference letter in the formar required, so ive asked for one from my ex colleague. Only thing is its on a normal paper not notarized.
My question is will a normal reference letter do ?? i have added her contact details on that or should it be notarized?

AFAIK normal letter with his/her visiting card will do. You might want to explain why you are unable to provide a letter on company letter head in the LoE,
Have you spoken to your superior. You can draft the letter and get him to sign it. Best to be on a company letter head and include his business card. If not then get it notarized.
