Red seal plumbing info

Hi guys,i am just wondering if there are any of you guys that had to get your trade accessed for canada,i was sent an email the red seal company but i havent a clue where to start,can i get my trade accessed here in ireland or do i wait until i get to canada?i am totally lost any info would be much appreicated

Contact the provincial office you plan to immigrate and send in your apprentice certification etc to them.

Than you may need to appear for an exam.
After you pass the exam you will get the red seal certification.

As an alternative you can apply for provincial certification only.

Ah ok,thanks for the info m8,can you also tell me where do i go to do the exam,i am from ireland and i am just wondering if it can be done here or does it have to be done in canada?Also can you please tell me what is a provincial certification?if the exam has to be done in canada will i be able to work in plumbing when in canada even if i dont have the red seal,thank you for the information m8

Dear shea,

You maybe aware that Canada consists of 10 provinces and 3 territories. Every province has their own trade certificates which allow tradesperson to work in that particular state.
With red seal certification you maybe able to work in any province in Canada thus giving you better flexibility.

If you have a particular province where you wish to immigrate eg, Ontario or Vancouver or Alberta than you can get certification in that particular province.
