Hello, any recent DM's when clicking into the decision made status on ECAS showing a line item of when the correspondence was sent out. 2 weeks later after i noticed DM still have had no correspondence. Got an email from an incompetent lawyer who i should have never had represent me(found this forum too late in the process) tell me that decision made on ecas does not mean a decision has been made on the application? Uh, i think that's a false statement?

What an idiot. What else would the DM mean under the applicant's section?

I'm pretty sure your lawyer is incorrect on that.

Hello all

I got a DM (on first page) on 31st October, sadly no fourth line to say ''decision has been made'' (on second page) I'm currently in Canada but my application is the London office, I called Ottawa today hoping they could tell me if I've got PR or not, the call center agent told me she couldn't tell me anything as the application is in London and furthermore Decision made could mean a decision has been made on one part of the application and not all yet! (?) I was quick to tell her my main page reads Decision made very clearly, she also said are ''no time frames in which correspondence and COPR documents are sent out, her words were ''expect it when you see it'',
so all in all a frustrating call - which got me nowhere, any thoughts?

Yup, I was told the same story by a call centre agent... "Decision made doesn't mean they've made a decision." GRRRR!!! I can't understand this. Just a month ago, that's exactly what it meant. Why is it that every time it's my turn to reach a certain step, they change the process to take longer? Used to be that 'in process' meant you would get DM within a couple of weeks, but it took me 2.5 months. I'm getting tired of CIC and their bs. My notes sure look like they've reached a favourable decision. Why can't they just send out the damn COPRs to us already?! It's so frustrating. I told my father in law yesterday that we have a DM and he's ready to celebrate, but I don't feel like celebrating at all until I get landed already. :p So much waiting and uncertainty.
