I applied for a super visa for my grandma and we did upfront medicals before applying on Sept 19. We haven't received a biometric request letter yet. Today the medical status on the ircc portal said passed and a few hours later to our surprise we got a request for the passport. Has anyone come across a scenario where the passport request occurred without needing biometrics ? The only country my grandma visits other than India is UAE and she has never given biometrics before .
I've submitted a webform to IRCC to let them know and we plan to submit the passport anyway but would appreicate some insight from anyone who has seen a simlar situation
