Hi,

I'm currently on a working in Canada on a work permit which expires in April 2017. I've received the ITA on 22nd February draw and completing my application for PR. What i've understood about BOWP application is that i can only apply after receiving R10 completeness check, which can take longer than a month. I want to know if their is any other way i can keep staying in Canada post expiry of my work permit even if i'm not allowed to work? Or do i've to go back to my home country? I also have a valid tourist visa for Canada if that helps?

Any suggestions or advice on how to proceed will be hugely appreciated.

Thanks!

You can apply for a BOWP as soon as you get your AOR, so you must submit your eAPR before your work permit expires.
