Yaara, dont worry though your AOR has reached you in little late but the processing time starts from the day they dispatch you, so you are very well in game, not delayed in your process.
We all know how capable is our indian postal dept. Hope they will get better one day.
All the best.
rgds,
hangza
First of all, Congrats on receiving communication from CHC-ND, sencondly will you please explain the facts of the letter.Whether they have told u to contact them in case you hear nothing from them after 90 days or something else.
Thanx
TODAY I RECIVED MY PASSPORTS BACK FROM ND-CHC, SAYING PASSPORT OF MY MINOR SON IS HAVING PHOTO IS OLDER MORE THAN 3 YEARS, GOING TO PASSPORT OFFICE TOMMOROW. HOPE TO GET IT SOON
Hello Sharma,
This is strange. Is there any guideline that says photos in the passport should not be more than 3 years old? The only rule I know regarding passport if I am not mistaken is that it should be valid for at least a year during the stamping of the visa. In my country validity of passport is 5 years. Does this mean that if passpprt was issued in 2006 and expires in 2011, they will no longer accept it?
Well photo requirements in the application form is different. I believe it must be the most recent one. But new photos in a 3 year old passport? It is indirect instruction of get a new passport even if it is still valid as per immigration rules. They're rude!
congratulations sanjeev,
as per ur timeline i think u'll recieve ur madical call very soon.......most probebly next week.....all d best...........wts ur eCAS status now?..........

There are such guidelines. Generally stated in the RPRF+Passport request letter.

Hi Sharma77,
Hi I am new to the forum and please Sharma77, could you give me more information about the passport of the minor son. my baby is also a minor below 10 year and the picture of the baby is in my passport.
1) My question is , did the embassy say it is the passport picture that is older or the passport itself? Pleae let me know so that if it is the picture itself then i have to get a current picture of the baby and ask my embassy to put in my passport.
2 ) I sent my full application since June 23 till date no word from the visa Office. I do not know whether to contact them or wait?
Thanks
Canadaforall.
