Hi, I have applied Visa for my wife and kid(age 2 years). Biometrics was done in April 25th 2024, and yesterday we got message under my wife application stating that
"Parent Authorization to Travel: Signed letter of authorization from the non-accompanying
parent(s) authorizing your travel to Canada. Must be accompanied by a copy of their
passport or national ID clearly showing their signature."
Here I am having a confusion, whether my wife's parents should give consent since this request came under my wife's application or I have to give consent as my child is traveling with one parent.

You are the person to WRITE and SIGN an authorization( consent) letter for your child to travel with your wife. Also scan and send a copy of your your passport page along with the authorization(consent) letter.
