I applied for express entry early last year. My AOR is 1st Jan 2018. I have been stuck in IP2 since March 2018. I got married last month and wanted to add my spouse to my EE application. I raised a CSE on Thursday, 28th February 2019 to report the inclusion of my wife to my EE application. Surprisingly, I received a request for medical the very next day i.e. Friday, 1st March 2019. I don't understand if this is sent in response to my CSE or is it a coincidence. I have read that you receive a call for medicals right before your PPR email. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Is this medical request purely coincidental? Do I raise another CSE? And lastly, I think I was stuck in Security Screening considering I stayed stuck in IP2 for almost a year. I also know that if I add my spouse to my application, the points will be recalculated and the entire process will kick-start over again. My final question is, is there a chance that I will get security screened once again if I add my wife to my application or will be process be a little smoother this time around?
