Reapply to OHIP

Hello. If I loat OHIP because of the time outside CNada, how difficult it is to reapply and what special requirements are applicable ?

Do you have a valid PR card or are you a citizen?

Then you should be able to reapply easily. Would monitor to make sure 3 month wait period hasn‘t returned by the time you return. If it has you should take out private coverage during the 3 months to have emergency coverage. You should only be applying if you will be making Ontario your permanent home and will be staying in Ontario for the first 5 of 6 months and the first 6 out of 12 months.
