You may ask WHY we waited till the last month - well, till last month, we thought we were moving back to India but now, he may be due for a promotion and things are looking great here.

He has his medicals on Tuesday.

One last questions, my taxes were up to date till last year but we have just received the T4s now, for this year's taxes. So we won't have the Option Cs in time? any suggestions?

And we have ample proof of our marriage - joint bank accounts, insurance, car, photos, rented house, etc etc. Though we had a civil ceremony and our parents weren't there (his parents were opposed to the whole White-Brown thing), we have proof that this relationship is legal. We even went to India together for 2 months to meet his family etc.

It is definitely a grey area, depending IMO upon whether the OWP is considered a renewal or a new WP, but personally I think you are OK to continue working.
