i got 6.5 bands in the first attempt, i want to re-take the test to improve my bands, i just want to know that if i re-take the test, will my previous result card become invalid, please inform me about this ASAP.

Valid but the duration depends on the body directed to. If it is for the purpose of immigration it is valid for 2 years
 
I want to apply for study visa, i just want to know that can i use my previous result as well if just in case i m not able to achieve the desired bands again.

yes you can use previous result..result is valid for 2 years
