Re-Submit another application.

I have submitted an application to MPNP which is in progress. MPNP is claiming not to have a strong connection outside the city of Winnipeg. My relative stays in Winnipeg.
Since I got another LAA in the meantime from MPNP now I requested them to withdraw my application. It is taking quite a while to get a response from MPNP.
What should I do?
Will I submit the new application mentioning another application is in progress?
or Will I wait for their response?

My application has been withdrawn. They didn't send any confirmation email but on the MPNP application profile, they updated the status as Withdrawn.
