I have submitted my EE profile but I could not get any points for my spouse's education and work experience. If I am the primary applicant and my wife is dependent do I still need her education assessed to get points for her education and work experience. What if her work experience is not in the same field of education. Do I still get points for her work experience (around 3 years of full time work experience in different NOC).

yes, you do: either canadian diploma, or an ECA for you and spouse if you want education points. spouse work experience only counts for points if in canada.
check this:
spouse is included in application
spouse is not canadian PR or cit
you filled out all the sections - use the "check for completeness" button to be really sure, especially for spouse.
could someone pls clarify this for me .
My spouse is a businessman and has no formal educational qulaifications. He finished high school ( here in Sri Lanka its almost 14 years) but failed his exam. we have O levels in grade 11 ( which he passed) and A levels in grade 14 ( which he failed) This being the case should I put "None or less than secondary (high school )" or " Secondary diploma (high school graduation ) " ?
