hello guys, i just want to ask if i need to get a re-entry visa before leaving canada for a 1-month vacation in the philippines even if my present visa and work permit we're still valid because our HR-manager advised me to do so..if yes, where can i apply online? thanks

If your present visa (the counterfoil affixed to your passport) is multiple-entry, is valid and will not be expired after your 1 month vacation, then you do not need a re-entry visa.

Check the counterfoil in your passport, and see if it is multiple-entry. That is the entry document you need for travelling back to Canada after your vacation.

yeah both visa and work permit are still valid when i get back in canada. i'm just wondering why our HR told me to do so. anyway, thanks for the info.
