Re-entry to Canada on Post Graduation Work Permit

Hello Members,
I have post graduation work permit and visa till nov 2019.
From last one year I have been in my home country india due to some family reasons.
Now I am going back to canada by end of march.
1) Do I need to take medical examination as I stayed in india more than 6 months?
2) will it create any problem in my entry to canada because my work permit is valid till only next 7-8 months?

It would be great help if anyone can provide some guidance.

There should be no problem at all. Medical is not required if you have a valid Visa and a valid work permit.
