Hello,
my mother inlaw arrived in canada may 2019 on a supervisa for a stay of 2 years. She wants to go home to indonesia with a friend for a month in March my concern is her re entry to Canada. Because shes travelling with a friend and not family will she be questioned on re entry? Anyone have a similar experience?

When she re-enters, how long she will be allowed back into Canada will be up to the CBSA officer.
Ok thanks. So back to my original question re entering WITHOUT A family member would they question that or is it irrelevant?
thanks
Not really relevant. Parents often travel without family to meet children living in Canada.
