Hi I am a US immigrant who is married to a Canadian citizen and I have been staying in Canada as a visitor for more than 6 months since I applied for visitors extension. I am wondering if there should be anything that I need show/say to US immigrations upon re-entering US again? Thanks in advance

No, not really. They may ask you why you were in Canada and if you have anything to declare. I don't remember it being a big deal when I re-entered the US after being in Canada for over a year.

That's not entirely true. It actually depends on how long a green card holder has been outside of the US. If the person has been outside of the US for less than a year - everything should be fine. If more than a year - expect problems and the possibility your green card status may be in jeopardy.

Oh sorry! I based my answer on the member's situation. I guess I was confused by the "US Immigrant" portion. I took it as they were a US Citizen, which makes a difference. My bad, I don't have any experience in knowing about US Immigrant and green cards.
Thank you Scylla for the correction. Should I delete my post as not to confuse anyone?
Smiles!!
