I applied for express entry in November 2018 and got declined in May 2019 due to an incorrect NOC code being used and then not having enough points.
Decline letter received 27th May 2019
Left Canada to visit UK (home) for a pre planned vacation 29th May
Returned to Canada 9th June.

I had another flight booked to the UK for Sept 11th 2019. When re entering Canada through immigration I entered this date as when I will be leaving Canada.

Got married 6th July.
Applied for marriage certificate 6 August.

I have checked the status of the certificate and it states that it will take 10 weeks.
I was previously of the belief that I should not take my flight to UK in Sept as I would have applied for my spousal sponsorship by then and i wouldn't want to jeopardize my application.
Now my marriage certificate may not even arrive by then so I wouldn't even be able to apply for PR.
Is it best to take my flight to the UK and return the following week and get a fresh 6 months in Canada?

You can apply for an extension of your stay

Apply for an extension as it seems you have already been in the country a while this year and if you leave again no guarantee how long you might get coming back in as might appear to CBSA you are living as a visitor whereas IRCC handle extensions.

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/visit-canada/extend-stay.html

Once you apply for an extension you are good until a decision is made. Also note that the date you entered when entering Canada is not as important as any date entered in your passport by CBSA, no date entered= 6 month default stay.

There was no date entered on my passport. Does this mean I have the 6 months even though I entered Sept 11th 2019 on the machine?
