I don't have any recent experience at a border crossing. My spouse is a US citizen who has overstayed his visitor visa in Canada by one year.
We live near the border, and want to have my spouse with a new visitor visa. I want to leave and return with paperwork and our young child, we have been married five years and will travel for our anniversary and have proof of payment for our inland application.
How likely is it that my spouse will be refused re-entry?
