Hi everyone,

Does anyone have any experience with the following situation?
  1. Studying and graduating with a study permit;
  2. Applying for a PGWP from inside Canada;
  3. Being on maintained status with a TRV; and then
  4. Leaving Canada for another country and re-entering Canada while on maintained status with a TRV. The study permit is still valid.
I was advised by the institution I just graduated from that, in this situation, I need to wait to receive my PGWP before I can re-enter Canada because of COVID-19-related restrictions, though ordinarily (without COVID) just proof of maintained status suffices.

Does anyone have any experience with this during COVID? I couldn't find anything online that speaks specifically to this situation.
