RE enter Canada without PR Card

I don’t have any known friends who are ready to collect my PR card and forward it to me to Australia so I am thinking of UPS courier office address in Vancouver and ask them to collect and forward my PR card. But I was told that it is high risk and chances of loosing card is very high

I am wondering, If I don’t get my PR card , Can`t re enter Canada ? What is travel document every PR visa holder residing outside Canada is able to get this to re enter Canada?

BTW I am validating my visa next week and will return back to Australia after spending 2 days in Vancouver

I think you can apply for PRTD through local emabassies if you dont have PR card. But there are certain conditions. Please check CIC website. They have put all details on this

Yes I ddi check but the conditions what they put looks complicated and not everyone will be able to get the Travel documents

It says “ you need to meet the residency obligation of a permanent resident “ which is one of the below
1. Accompanying Canadian Citizen or Canadian PR outside Canada
2. Employed by Canadian company outside Canada
3. Humanitarian and compassionate Grounds

I can apply on 3rd category but they look for valid reason why stayed outside Canada without PR Card , I don’t think they will accept any reason just like that

One more question, hope I will be allowed to go out of POL so that I can collect any address outside and mail my PRC application to Sydney next day

Please correct me if my understanding is wrong

relax....these requirements apply if u were out of canada for more than 2-3 years...otherwise they dont refuse.

You mean if I return back Canada with in 2 yers from now , it should not be an issue ??

yes should be absolutely fine...but dont delay the process. collect ur prc as soon as possible
