Hi All,
I received a request from the Buffalo office for "RCMP police certificates"(finger print).My case status is still "Received by Visa Office".What's happening?Why are they requesting additional documents at this stage?Please clear my doubt!!!!!!!

Because they did a name check in CPIC and there is a person with a criminal record in Canada with a name age similar to yours. So they want the RCMP finger print check to ensure that it is not you.
