I received an ADR for RCMP clearance certificate and I live in Vancouver. I was told to go to the Vancouver Police Department in downtown Cambie. Would they be able to do it for me? Any info on this would be highly appreciated.

Fingerprint-based RCMP checks are not asked of everyone. IRCC automatically conducts name-based checks of all applicants, that's why you don't need to submit a Canadian PCC.
However, if the name-based check returns a criminal history (usually means that someone with the same name has a criminal record), IRCC then asks for the finger-print based check to determine whether you are the person associated with this record.

Hi @jes_ON
I have been requested the same RCMP by ADR. The letter mentions only my name. So i do not need to get an RCMP for my wife and daughter older than 18? As they also have been living in Canada more than 3 years now along with me. Thank you in advance.
