My CRS is 435, got invitation on Aug 9. Submitted application on oct 13th. Got a rejection letter on 30th October citing reason that PCC is insufficient for my spouse as it does not cover her complete stay in Qatar. Managed to get a new PCC and raised CSE. Meanwhile, created new profile as well and Crs remains 435. Just wondering what future has in its store for me

Immigration to Canada to increase over next 3 years, reaching 340,000/year by 2020. Gov't to allow 310,000 in 2018, with gradual increases.

Good news. I guess as we all had expected. Of course more would have been even better.

2018 - Low: 290,000
2018 - High: 330,000
2018 - Target: 310,000

From this 310k do we know how much would be allovated to FSW? Would the emphasis on "more economic immigrants" make a case for a higher number? How does this compare to 2016 and 2017 figures??

The focus is definitely on having more quota for PNP's which almost confirms 2018 is not going to have a draw with a CRS cut off below 400.

Hi samuraili, i am also from Qatar and I am wondering what happened to your spouse’ PCC? I also requested my PCC last Aug and when i saw your comment, i checked my PCC and noticed that it didnt really state my complete stay in Qatar. Maybe because i was cancelled last 2012? The pcc covered only from 2013 to present but supposedly 2009 to present. 2012 my qid got cancelled and came back with new visa early 2013. Was this also the case cor your spouse? If yes, may i know what you showed in cid to give you the correct dates? Thanks in advance and appreciate your reply.
