I'm in the process of convincing the wife that a move to Canada (from the UK) would be beneficial to our (and our daughters) lifestyle, but cant seem to find any job opportunites working on the railway network.
I currently work for Alstom Transport UK working as a maintenance electrician on the Virgin Westcoast fleet of Tilting trains, my job is a recognised position under the Skilled worker heading.
Are ther any rail jobs websites? or any major companies that i can contact?
..froggy,... have you received any reply since your last posting in this forum ? I too work with the railway industry, and I design equipment for them, and supply technical parts and items to them. Are there any opportunities for us anywhere in Canada ?
Hi guys,
I'm also in the rail industry (project manager safety / IT / traffic control) and looking to move to Canada later this year.
I can't post links here (just tried but apparently not allowed) but here's a list of companies in the rail industry you can google which have vacancies on their websites (sometimes):
viarail
transitbc
ontarionorthland
bombardier
testoriamericas
pnrail
