Quitting the LMO supported job, before doing the PR landing.

Hi all,

Perhaps somebody can help me here.

I got PR through FSW EE recently, we just received papers back from Ottawa and doing the border run next week.

My EE PR was with an LMO, however I already have another job lined up and want to quit the current one asap.


I'm worried about any risks to my PR being revoked if I do quit the LMO job already now. Perhaps getting any questions at the border??

As you said your EE PR is based on LMO, immigration officers on the border might ask you proof of your work and they have the full right to do cross check with your current company from where you got your LMO, My suggestion is do your landing as soon as possible then give a shock of resignation to your company...rest is your choice...

Not really, In my case they didn't even talked about my employment and I am EE LMO candidate, But only god knows about that immigration officer, he might be or not be in a good mood on the day you land, One thing is sure they will ask you about which stream you applied EE...then rest upto them....
