quitting study permit while waiting for spouse sponsorship pr

hi guys,
i want to apply sponsorship pr online, I am a student in Canada with study permit, I have 2 questions:
1- should i apply for open work permit at the same time with my sponsorship application? what should I do? upload the 5710 form in my account in the "Other" part? or I should wait until they receive my application?

2- can I quit my study while I'm waiting for open work permit? i think it takes several months to get open work permit

1. You can't apply for the OWP right away if you apply online. You'll need to wait until you have AOR before you can apply for the OWP.
2. You can quit your studies. If you quit your studies, you should apply to change your status to visitor so that you don't fall out of status in Canada while waiting for AOR. If you are working, you'll need to stop as soon as you've dropped out of school.
