Quick backstory, My wife is a Canadian Citizen and I am from the USA. We've been living together in Canada with me as a visitor as we complete our immigration paperwork.
She has been accepted as a sponsor, but my stay expires in Canada in around 2 months. So we're applying to expend our stay because we'd prefer to not have to travel. My wife works two jobs and it would be inconvenient to have to leave for a few days.
I'm filling out the "Application to change condition, extend my stay" forum and in the "Details of my visit to Canada" section it asks for "Funds available for my say". This question concerns me because answering truthfully wouldn't reflect my ability to stay in the country financially. We don't have a hefty savings due to a recent emergency purchase, but like I said my wife works two jobs and our current income is more than enough to provide for the both of us (basically) indefinably. How to I answer this question? could I simply write down our monthly income into the box and provide photocopies of her paystubs?
edit: just realized that I MUST input a number into the box. Annoying.

2 months is too early. Wait until a few weeks before your status expires to apply. The speed that American outland apps are processed, you may be a PR by then anyways.
If and when you do apply, yes, state her income and include her payslips.
