I came to Canada back in 2011 and the officer grilled me with a lot of un-necessary questions though some of them made sense like:

1) How did you get the job?
2) What is the nature and duties of the job?

Please share if you have had a tough time at the border control recently since one of my friends is coming to Canada on a work permit and I am not sure how things go for him. He is from a visa-free country though (UK) but wants to enter Canada on a work permit and not as a visitor. (He has the WP visa on his passport.)

Any instances where a person has been refused entry despite having a valid fresh work permit visa?
