Questions about Interview and different residence!

I am posting on this thread to ask some of the experienced members of this forum their opinion on a few things regarding my application

1) So unfortunately it looks like our application is put in queue for interview, Our application is processing in Singapore VO. I have noticed there are members on this forum waiting to hear back about their Interview call since 2018 from Singapore VO. My question is would they conduct my interview in Singapore if I fly to Singapore? (Current country of residence: Bangladesh)

2) I am planning to move to UAE on a residence visa, If I do I know they process applications in Canadian Embassy in Abu Dhabi. Would I be able to transfer my file to UAE or be able to give my interview there?

They will not transfer your app from one VO to another, if they ask for an interview you would have to go to Singapore.

Make sure you let IRCC know about your change of address. However as said above, unfortunately you shouldn't expect that they will move the interview location.

If you haven't done so already, make sure you order GCMS notes so that you can see the detail info for your application and can get insights into why an interview is being requested.

Well Interview is conducted by Singapore VO, when they travel to Bangladesh. My question was If i can travel on my own expense to give my interview in Singapore.

You can write to them and ask but this may be moot right now. I don't think they are conducting in-person interviews at all, but online,and even that there are not many reports of them being done.

Yeah, I have not heard anything about them conducting any interviews at all. That’s why we are just worried about the delay, now also with Interview in place, they won’t even grant us TRV.

I have emailed Singapore visa office inquiring them to see if they would conduct my interview there.

Just to add to the above, if you do have to travel to Singapore it is at YOUR expense.

Yes I know that and I am fine with it, as long as they allow me to travel to Singapore for Interview.
