Hello! I work in Canada, but my W-1 visa is expiring. I still have a valid V-1 visa, which I got before coming to work in Canada. I have an upcoming travel abroad. My question: Can I use my valid V-1 visa (along with valid work permit) to return to Canada for work?

I'm aware that foreign workers have been issued V-1 visas lately (https://ircc.canada.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=208&top=22), but my situation is different because I got my V-1 visa before coming to work in Canada, so I thought I'd ask here.
