I have applied to for Refugee status and waiting for my hearing which was posted pond once, and now I got a letter CIC/refugee board stating they are still waiting for the security screening before they can re issue a new date for my hearing, whats the time line? and is this process normal as i applied back on December 2016, had a hearing in feb 2017 postpone then now?
As well i am currently a master student with a valid study permit can i apply for a work permit and work full time as well keep my study permit and finish up my studies or do i drop my studies ..
