Hi,
A little background that hopefully will help. I applied as a skilled worker thru the Bufflo NY office. I've sent in my paperwork which included my proof of funds. In Oct I did my medical exam, and I've sent in my Landing fee. They have not asked for my passport as of yet.

1. Do they recheck your proof of funds? Is that by request or do they just check with your bank?
2. How long from now can I expect to see a notification for Approval or denial? (the web page is too vague)
3. If due to exchanges rates my proof of funds is lacking do I need to replenish the money and I'm wondering how long I have to do that?

Any advice would be helpful.
Thanks

Usually they ask you to provide proof again when they ask for your police certificate(s).

If you did your medical in October, you've got a couple months yet.

You should make sure your proof of funds is sufficient so that daily exchange rates won't affect the outcome.

Actually they have my police certificates already, it was part of the whole original package. Anything they as for they already have. This now includes the landing fee. So I just wanted to clarify that. So I still may have a few months then?

Hello Members,

I plan to arrive on May 12th 2015 in Edmonton and stay there for 2-3 weeks before I move to Calgary. I need some help clarifying a few doubts hoping if anyone of you could help answer. Since I'd be travelling before my Spouse and Child, do they have to show POF too at the time of Landing or will my POF will be sufficient? if they do have to show a POF, how much should I show and how much should they have (my wife and child) at the time they arrive?

Long question short, can dependants land and do their immigration formalities showing a copy of POF submitted by the PA at the time of arrival?

Thanks in advance...
