I was just looking at the CIC page which listed the points calculation criteria for FSW eligibility (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp), and came across something which doesn't make sense :/

If you look at the points grid for education, under the Masters section, it says:

Note: Degree program must be in one of these fields of study: Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Dentistry, Podiatry, Optometry, Law, Chiropractic Medicine, or Pharmacy.

Does is mean that you only get 23 points if you have a Masters degree in one of the above fields ?! I have an Electrical & Computer Engineering degree from a top US university, so I'm wondering if I'll get points for that under FSW ... :(

No. That is only for University level entry-to-practice professional degree.

What about the following, which is also mentioned there:

Occupation related to the degree must be:
>> NOC 2011 Skill Level A, and
>> licensed by a provincial regulatory body.

Does this also only apply for entry-to-practice professional degrees, or does it also apply for Master's degrees ?

That applies to Entry-to-practice professional degree as well.
