If a person current status in Canada is BOWP and assuming the application for Permanent residence application is rejected.
Can that person be allowed to stay and work until the end date of BOWP or does he need to leave the country as the decision on the permanent residence application is made ?
Hoping for the best on the PR application to progress smoothly. But still, I would like to know about the worst case scenario when staying in Canada on a BOWP.

@pfse: Thanks!
Is there any source which confirms this ?
I see the following in CIC website in BOWP details page, which made me think, it would until the decision is made.
Qualifying foreign nationals currently in Canada who meet program eligibility requirements may be considered for a work permit to bridge the gap between the expiry of their current work permit and the final decision on their application for permanent residence (APR)
PS: I am not allowed to post links, so couldn't mention the web link here.
